Here you find documentation for all the supported (emulated) platforms within Metropolis Launcher.

A big part in this documentation is the overall quality of the data provided by Metropolis Launcher. Currently, this is an ongoing process. The tasks are:

ML        Link the games to their MobyGames data

The ideal case is that every game in a complete Rom set can be linked to MobyGames data (this however, won't be the case, because MobyGames does not contain data about unreleased or unlicensed games)

CML        Have the game links checked by another person
People make errors, so we want a second pair of eyes to check and correct wrong links, this will be done in waves of QA

MP        Manually ensure multiplayer data
Even MobyGames is missing vital multiplayer data on some games, so we are ensuring, that games missing "Number of Players", "Multiplayer Options" or "Multiplayer Modes" are provided with that data

CMP        Check multiplayer data

For QA, a second person will check the (additional) multiplayer data

The following tasks are taking care of a certain completeness of Extras (screenshots, box art etc.) - Some projects on the web already work on that, e.g. No-Intro Screenshot Reloaded

EXS        Extras (Screenshots)

EXT        Extras (Titles)

EXB        Extras (Box Art)

EXM        Extras (Medium)

The current State of Tasks

Each platform below this topic provides detailed information on each task, here is an overview with each number representing the completion in %.

Legend:

Just white background:task hasn't been started yet - please volunteer!
Just yellow background:task is entirely covered by another project (e.g. M.A.M.E. Extras, No-Intro Screenshots Reloaded)
Number on white background:ongoing task, number is the progress in per-cent (0, .., 100)
Number on green background:successfully closed task, number is the progress which can in some cases be lower than 100, explanation can be read in the platform's description
Red background (optional /w number):task on hold (number in cell is the progress) / task cannot be started, explanation can be read in the platform's description (in most cases there is missing functionality in order to perform the task)
Just gray background:task is not needed
